These terms govern your use of Calorie Coach, a nutrition-coaching application operated by Michael Torbert (sole proprietor), Reedville, Virginia, USA. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms.
The service
Calorie Coach provides nutrition tracking, AI-assisted coaching, reminders, and progress insights. Features may change as the service evolves.
Not medical advice. Calorie Coach provides general wellness information and coaching for educational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before changing your diet or exercise routine, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or take medication.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old (18 to enable SMS notifications).
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
Notifications
Push and SMS notifications are optional and controlled from the app's settings. SMS messaging is governed by our SMS Program terms: message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service — including attempting to access other users' data, disrupting the service, or using it for unlawful purposes.
Your data
Your privacy matters to us. How we collect and use data is described in the Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of the data you log; you grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service for you.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
